David Pompa Alarcón
1986 - Is born in Austria and grow up as the son of an Austrian mother and a Mexican father in both countries.
2005 - Graduates from the “Higher Technical College of Design” HTL Ferlach
2007 - Design of the booth for Globo Lighting at the “Salone del Mobile” in Milan and presentation of his first lamp collection “Alice” and his wall clock “Pallas Athene” with the German company Kieninger at the WSUM Basel.
2008 - Is being awarded the “Master of Arts and Design” at the Kingston University, London
He founds the “studio davidpompa”, which is working together with companies such as Siemens, Agip and Pago.
Other projects include BKS Bank and Globo Lighting
2009 - Designs the first exclusive catalogue for solar lighting products
His solar lamp collection “Barcelona” is brought on the market
Is being mentioned in international media such as “Architectural Digest”
2010 - Is asked to take on a project creating and designing a complete hotel resort called “Wahaha Paradise”
Designs the chair collection “Venus” for the Austrian company BHP and various products for Globo Lighting, which are available on the European market
