Founded in 2013 with a showroom and production located in Mexico City. We are a team of designers, engineers and makers based in Mexico and Austria.
The idea of working with Mexican craft started with a trip to Oaxaca in 2009 where David saw artisans work with “Barro Negro” for the first time. He immediately started working and experimenting with the material, which led to his first collection. Since then we, as a Studio, have been committed to the creation of design objects, which are both beautifully crafted and accessible.
We combine traditional materials and crafts with our passion for perfection. The deep respect for materials and for craftsmen drives us as a brand to redefine Mexican craft.

Our aim is to reinterpret our culture, to have a deeper understanding of our history, expressed in the transformation of materials with a timeless visual language.

Where is your showroom?
Our showroom is in the heart of Mexico City as well as our production. Both are located in Roma Norte, a neighborhood constructed mainly at the beginning of the 20th century, with French-style buildings, our space being one of them. Showroom info

All assembly and shipping occurs within our workshop in Calle Colima 264, Roma Norte neighborhood, in the heart of Mexico City. Parts of our lamps are made by our trusted craftsmen and partners, who are located all over Mexico.

For pendant lamps, the standard cable length is 2m. Cables are adjustable in length. When the cable length needs to be more than 2m, it can be adjusted at an increased price.
Do I need to add an adaptor to use my lamp outside of Mexico?
The cable works up to 240V. So you don´t need an adaptor to use your lamp outside Mexico. We can provide 220V/230V bulbs for international deliveries.
Are light bulbs included in your products?
Light bulbs are included in some of our products. Please have a look at the product specifications. Unincluded light bulbs can be purchased directly with us or at any store selling standard light bulbs.
What type of bulbs are included?
We only use LED bulbs, detail specifications can be found on our product pages. If you need more detailed information, please contact us.
How can I attach my lamp to the ceiling?
Every pendant lamp can be hung as a single pendant or in a chandelier composition. We offer ready-made compositions in various canopy sizes and finishes such as chrome, black or white metal. Individual customized chandeliers are available on special request.
Can the lamps be used outdoors?
At the moment we do not offer outdoor products in our standard collection, please contact us for custom projects.
Can I receive samples of any of your products or materials?
Product samples can be ordered with a down payment, shipping excluded. We offer free material samples, shipping excluded.
Chandelier arrangements and custom orders
Can I just buy the lamps as single pendants or also in a chandelier?
You can buy our lamps as single pendants with an individual ceiling rose. If you wish to arrange a chandelier, you can do so by using one of our canopies. We offer a collection of canopies designed to help you make group arrangements with any of our pendant lamps. How to build your canopy
What is a canopy?
A canopy is a fixture that allows you to attach your lamp to a ceiling or wall. They are not included in the purchase of our lamps. Canopies come in square, round and rectangular shapes, available in different sizes. Standard finishes are chrome, black and white. Special finishes and sizes are available upon request. How can I customize my chandelier?
You can hang your pendant lamps in different heights and positions to design your own chandelier. We can help you visualize your idea if it becomes too complex. Please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss your needs.
Is it possible to have a cable extension for my chandelier?

Can all pendant lamps be converted into wall lamps?
Almost all of our pendant lamps can be combined with our wall fixture except our Caleta Medium and Large.
Can I customize a product?
We work on custom projects on a regular basis. Adaptions of our products are accepted on a case by case basis. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your project.
Installation
How do I install my single pendant?
Each lamp is ready to be installed, in each package there are installation guidelines, if you still have doubts regarding installation, please don´t hesitate to contact us, we will gladly help you.
Can you help me with the installation?
Unfortunately, we do not offer installation services.
Is it difficult to install a chandelier?
Large chandeliers will be delivered ready to install. The cable length and wiring are ready to use but can be adjusted.
Quotes and payment
Which forms of payment do you accept?
You can pay via wire transfer, bank deposit, check deposit on bank account, credit or debit card at the store or in cash up to $10,000 pesos. *Note, architects who receive a discount cannot pay by credit card.
How do I get a quote or pricelist?

Shipping and lead time
What are my shipping options?
Our trusted delivery company is DHL, if you require another shipping company you can arrange a pick up at our showroom, in which case, we won´t be held responsible if the product doesn´t arrive in optimal conditions.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide, you can contact us directly to place your order.
Will my package be standard?
Packaging will be adjusted to your needs, if it is a local delivery or pick up, we will pack in stable carton boxes. If it is a national or international delivery, we adjust the packaging also using wooden frames if necessary and provide, at no extra cost, PVC pallets for longer deliveries provided by studio davidpompa.
What if my product is damaged on arrival?
Our products are thoroughly inspected and carefully packed before leaving our facility. Should you receive products in a damaged condition which is either apparent or concealed, claims for damage must be made in writing within 3 days of receipt of goods.

Where there is a delay or likelihood of delay in the supply of products, we will advise you as soon as practicable.
Product care and replacement parts
How do I clean my canopy/wall fixture?
For dusting and light cleaning of hard surfaces use a soft, damp cloth. Gently wipe the surface then immediately use a dry cloth to wipe the surface again. Do not use abrasive or acidic household cleaning products. For the best maintenance of the product, protect it against sunlight and heat, and try to keep it away from moisture, grease and dirt.
