For the Milan Design Week 2026, MATTEOBRIONI invites Studio davidpompa to illuminate its new exhibition at Via Statuto 18, in the heart of Milan’s design district. A dialogue between Italian and Mexican material cultures, where the presentation of the new MB Era unfolds through earth, stone, and light sculptures.
Within the exhibition space, MATTEOBRIONI unveils the new MB ERA, new logo and rebranding, introducing an updated product line and three new shades of earth. This evolution reinforces a contemporary language rooted in material authenticity and craft
The space is illuminated through a curated installation of the Origo collection by davidpompa presented in Recinto volcanic stone and Fiorito stone, establishing a precise interplay between density and emission, permanence and mobility. Light is treated as an architectural element embedded within surface and matter, revealing the tension and harmony between the two material traditions.
