Terms and conditions


Mexico - All sales in Mexico will be sold in MXN. The prices shown in our price list and our website include IVA, shipping is excluded and the costs of the same must be paid as an additional service.

Europe - All orders shipped to the Europe will be sold in EUR and shipped on DAP terms, meaning that the order will usually be retained in customs upon arrival in the country, waiting for the importer to comply with the payment of duties and/or taxes. The prices shown in our price list and our website exclude duties and taxes. These must be paid by the buyer upon arrival of the products.

Rest of the world - All orders sent to any other country will be sold in USD and shipped on DAP terms, meaning that the order will usually be retained in customs upon arrival in the country, waiting for the importer to comply with the payment of duties and/or taxes. The prices shown in our price list and our website exclude duties and taxes. These must be paid by the buyer upon arrival of the products.

Pricing is based on the price list valid at any given time and exclusive of VAT and any local taxes.

Orders will not be dispatched without full payment of it.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, pricing errors and typing errors.


Quotes are valid for 7 days only. Goods can be ordered by email, after obtaining a formal quote.

The lead time will commence from receipt of proof of payment, this must be sent via email to, otherwise we cannot guarantee your delivery time. The estimated production lead time may change without prior notice depending on demand for our collection, by placing a custom order or an order higher than usual order quantities. Mexican taxes will be applied for purchases made in Mexico.

For urgent orders a rush fee is charged, an equivalent to 12% of the total quoted price.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order.


There is a final and binding contract between you and Studio davidpompa; once Studio davidpompa confirms your order. To guarantee this and your purchase, it will be sent a confirmation via email of the order been approved and given production lead time will begin. Once it is ready you will receive a notification email for pickup or with your tracking number.

Trade Discounts

We offer discounts to architects and interior designers on standard lighting items and accessories. These discounts are not applicable on tiles and custom items. The aforementioned discount is subject to approval by davidpompa’s team. In order to make the discount valid, we need the following information:

• Company’s name
• Billing information
• RFC (Just for México)
• Address and telephone number of the company
• Website, IG or FB
• Project's name and location

It is an essential requirement that all purchases are invoiced in the name of the company, otherwise the discount will not be applicable, also for it, the payment must be done by wire transfer or bank deposit, credit cards are not applicable for this.

For purchases inside the showroom trade discounts will not apply. Credit cards are accepted for purchases inside the showroom only.

Mexico - This discount can be transferred to the final client only if the architect or interior designer requests it in written form. In this scenario if an invoice is required by the final client the payment must be done by him, bank deposit or wire transfer; if the payment was a wire transfer from a company the invoice information must be from who have paid and will not be for the final client.

Europe and Rest of the world - This discount can be transferred to the final client only if the architect or interior designer requests it in written form.

We reserve the right at any time to withdraw this discount at any circumstance.

Terms of Payment

Payment of your quote confirms that the order is correct and instructs us to begin production. Once paid, orders are non-refundable and non- exchangeable. All orders are subject to pre-payment or full payment:

Orders less than 5,000 USD – 100% full payment, to begin production.
Orders between 5,000 USD and 15,000 USD – 50% advance payment / 50% on completion.
Orders up to 15,000 USD - 70% advance payment / 30% on completion.

Studio davidpompa accepts bank deposit and transfers. Card payments can only be received in the showroom and trade discount will not be apply. In store you can only pay a maximum of 1,000 USD in cash.

It is responsibility of the customer to pay all bank charges associated with currency conversions for non-MXN payments.

Receipt of payment is considered confirmation of all order details as outlined in the estimate. We are not responsible for any errors client has overlooked in the estimate after payment has been made.

Any mistakes that can be rectified may incur a surcharge.


Invoicing for Mexico Mexico - In case an invoice is required, billing information must be sent via email no later than the 28th of each month, after this date we will not be able to invoice your order. If you make a purchase in the last days of the month, it is essential that you provide the billing information along with your proof of payment immediately otherwise we will not be able to issue your invoice, it will be billed with a generic RFC. In case the CFDI is not mentioned, it will be billed as G03. Invoices from previous months cannot be canceled.

Companies in Mexico - Invoices can only be issued for the company, the physical or legal representative owner of the bank account where the payment is made, with no exceptions.

Invoices before Payment - Studio davidpompa may generate an invoice for payment, after a week this will be automatically cancelled if the payment is not received. Invoices for payment cannot be release. No invoices can be issue during the month of December or in the last 7 working days of each month.

Other Countries

Studio davidpompa can provided a commercial invoice. We are not responsible for the payment of any local taxes, VAT or duties, we have no control over these charges, these charges have to be paid by the purchaser.

Terms of Delivery

Delivery of the products is not included, has an additional cost, and it must be paid. Our courier is DHL, all our shipments are insured for any situation that may occurred during the shipping. If the delivery is required with another company, it must be arranged, booked, and collected by you with the chosen company, and Studio davidpompa will not be held responsible for any losses or damages that may occurred during shipping. Any damages to packing visible on delivery should be detailed on the courier’s delivery note on the receipt of goods. Take photographs of the damaged packaging prior to opening. Report damaged to Studio davidpompa with the photographic evidence within 24 hours.

Inside Mexico - All orders must be collected at Colima 264, Col. Roma, Mexico CDMX unless otherwise specified.

International Delivery - As all products are produced and shipped from Mexico City. Our order time in quotations doesn’t include the shipping time or shipping costs unless otherwise specified. Any local taxes, VAT or duties are billed by customs to the consignee upon delivery. We have no control over additional customs charges, these charges must be paid by the purchaser.

In the event of a delay or probability of delay in the supply of products, we will inform you as soon as possible by mail.

Refunds and Returns

Studio davidpompa does not offer refunds.
All sales are final and cannot be exchanged.
Returns require prior authorization which can be requested by e-mail. Return forms must be received by us within 14 calendar days from when we issue the bill, or you will not receive any credit for your return. A 15% handling fee will be applied for all return items. There are no cancellations or returns on custom orders, woven items, canopies, chandeliers, furniture and light bulbs. Please note that Studio davidpompa does not accept returns any products purchased at one of our resellers. The customer is responsible for shipping the product back to Studio davidpompa. If returned products arrived damaged or used, we will not be able to provide a refund. For this reason, we strongly advise you to use an insured, trackable shipping method to return items.

Assembly / Installation

Each product has been designed for easy installation by an electrician. We provide the canopy, cable and crossbar. Contact us if you have questions about the installation. The bulbs are included in our lamps; for bulbs replacement it must be changed according to product specifications and LED only; otherwise, the lamp could be affected.

We create products with a unique and imperfect nature, due to the manufacturing process or the material used, offering a new experience through our reinterpretation of Mexican culture. No piece is the same, each piece in our collection represents an honest, timeless and unique design. Many finishes are manufacturing by hand and may vary in color, tone and character.

Studio davidpompa provides a one year warranty, this applies only to lighting products. We do not offer no compensation for wear and tear. Studio davidpompa cannot be held responsible for damages caused by incorrect, inappropriate, or carless use. We do not cover any installation or ancillary cost.

The warranty is not valid on bulbs.

Any damages or discrepancy must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of the goods. It must be reported via email with photographs and/or videos attached.

If boxes arrive visibly damaged, please do not accept the goods without first reporting it to the courier company.

Defective products will be replaced within the normal production lead time required to reorder and manufacture the same product.

Out of warranty - If any part of your product is broken or damaged, please contact us. We have spare parts, and we will be happy to advise you.

Storage Fees

Due to insurance and space limitations, no storage can be provided for more than 2 weeks from order completion and notification. Storage of store-bought products beyond 2 weeks will be billed at a weekly rate of 150 USD.
If orders are not fully paid within 3 months after completion, davidpompa reserves the right to retain products and consider order canceled without refund.

We grant you the following limited license to the contents of this website: to download or print pages and images for your own personal use.
